The name Tradepia Co., Ltd. is a combination of the words “trade” and “utopia,” meaning an ideal world. In other words, it refers to the ideal world of building a win-win relationship between sellers and buyers through trade. Furthermore, our basic management philosophy is to make all involved parties happy, including the end consumers who purchase our products.

Tradepia Co., Ltd. is a company that aims to create a win-win relationship between sellers and buyers through trade.


In order to ensure food safety and scientific validity, we thoroughly investigate and inspect raw materials to confirm their safety, and consider scientific, clinical, and pharmacological mechanisms to be the minimum requirements for sales.


Supplements are foods that people consume, and at the same time, they are expected to have health benefits. Therefore, when selling them, we will pay the utmost attention to this point and place emphasis on safety and scientific evidence in our sales activities so as not to mislead consumers by providing exaggerated advertising or information that is contrary to fact.

We provide domestic companies with functional ingedients from around the world that are backed by scientific evidence and clinical data.

We export and supply selected domestic materials to our overseas business partners.

We import products from overseas customers into Japan.

For both existing and new customers, we provide a one-stop service that meets the needs of companies, including raw material selection, research and development, pilot product trials, label design, and estimates for contract manufacturers.

History


Dec 1988 Yuji Matsushita founded Tradepia Co., Ltd. in Kasukabe City, Saitama Prefecture, with capital of 10.5 million yen.
1992 Started exporting SCP (Shark cartilage) from Maruha Co., Ltd. to the United States.
1995 Started import and sales of Garcinia Cambogia (Citrimax), a weight loss ingredient.
1996 Started import and sales of Pycnogenol® (French maritime pine bark extract) from Horphag Research in Switzerland
1997 Started import and sales of soy isoflavones from Schouten (now Frutarom/IFF) in the Netherlands.
2000 Started import and sales of Pycnogenol® as a cosmetic ingredient
Mar 2001 Relocated office to Hatchobori, Chuo-ku, Tokyo
2004 Started import and sales of alpha-lipoic acid, L-carnitine, bilberry extract, astaxanthin, and lutein.
Sep 2009 Started import and sales of BLIS K12® (Salivary streptococcus K12) from BLIS Technologies in New Zealand
Dec 2012 Started import and sales of BLIS M18® (Salivary streptococcus M18) from BLIS Technologies in New Zealand
May 2016 Masashi Matsushita appointed President and Representative Director

Jan 2017 Started import and sales of Robuvit® (French oak extract) from Hofer Research in Switzerland
2019 Started import and sales of C-Fence™ (Time-release vitamin C powder) and TurmXTRA® 60N (Highly absorbable turmeric extract) from Nutriventia in India as their exclusive distributor.
